| The Rail Joiner Die. Here are all the parts I made for a rail joiner die to be used on the Kick Press. The circular piece to the left fits in the ram and holds the punch. The block in the upper right fits into the bolster and holds the die. The other parts are the punch and die parts. |

| The Rail Joiner Die. The Kick Press has operated. The aluminum blank has been bent over and four holes have been punched in the blank in one operation. You can see the slug from one of the holes underneath the die. These slugs have to be cleaned out often or the punch will jam. |

The Rail Joiner Die. Here is the finished rail joiner. It is hard to see, but the rail joiners are L shaped. They take about 10 seconds each to punch out and bend. |
