Right of Way Views.
Here's view looking up Pottery Hill. The roadbed has been newly ballasted. The track to the left goes to the steaming bay. |
| Used Track Panels & Rail
Here's a pile of used track panels and rail
that was recently obtained along with some turnouts. The track
panels used steel and aluminum U channel for ties and they will be replaced with wood
ties. There is a total 1200 feet of rail. Between the pile of
loose rail and the panels is a turntable bridge. Don't know where
that is going to go yet. |

The Double Track Crossover
Here's a used 20' long double track crossover that will be stripped for reuse. It was disassembled for transport. Most
of the wooden boards were completely rotted away. The turnouts
will be reused, but the diamond cross over had to be scrapped. |
| Another Turnout Here is a short turnout using aluminum channel for ties. It will be rebuilt with all wood ties. Again the wood plank support was almost completely rotted away. It will be used in the yard by Patio Station. |

Another Long turnout
This turnout measures out to be a #10. It is very well made. It will be rebuilt using wood ties and will be used on the mainline. The 1/8" aluminum plate will be used for other stuff. Including the double track crossover, 7 used turnouts were acquired with the track panels and the rail.. |
